Mat will be giving the keynote speech at this year's Green Living Festival put on by an organization known as Sustainable Living and Renewable Energy Roundup (SLRE). The keynote speech willbe from noon to 1 PM on the topic of "Peak Oil Prep and Making the Shift to Sustainability". At 2 PM he will follow with a presentation on "Building the Super Home: Fire and Earthquake Resistant Building". For more details see:

Mat will be speaking at the Mother Earth News Fair outside of Pittsburg, PA

Mat will be giving two presentations at the Mother Earth News Fair at the Seven Springs Mountain Resort, a beautiful country resort located about an hour's drive from Pittsburgh, PA. On Saturday 9/25 Mat will give a presentation titled "Peak Oil Prep & Making the Shift to Sustainability" from 10:15-11:00 AM. On Sunday 9/26 Mat will give a presentation on "Protecting Yourself and Family From the Next Superbug" from 3:00-3:45 PM.

Mat will be giving a presentation on "Making Shift Happen: Changing Our Course From Collapse to Sustainability" at the West Coast Green Conference in San Francisco, CA on Saturday Oct 2 from 11:30 Am to 12:30 PM. This is the first time that Mat will be offering this exciting, inspiring, and experiential presentation!

Author Mat Stein takes us on a journey toward two futures. First he shows us why “business as usual” is rapidly driving us towards systemic collapse, identifying six major current trends we’re currently experiencing that together form a perfect storm for destroying the ecological and economic systems we depend on.
